Credit Union Times’ rising star 2022

The CU Times staff is excited to present the first group of LUMINARIES winners. The Class of 2022 winners were honored for the active and inclusive ways they are driving the credit union industry forward.

These 11 individuals and organizations have shown they are producing meaningful, innovative and replicable results in the areas that matter most to credit unions: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Executive Leadership, Innovation in Technology, Product Innovation and, of course the Rising Stars of the industry.

Business Record’s forty under 40

The Forty Under 40 awards are given annually to 40 local business leaders under the age of 40 for their career achievements and community involvement. Winners are chosen by a panel of past recipients who weigh equally business successes and civic/philanthropic activities. 

A profile story is written about the honoree and published in the Business Record. An event to honor each of the honorees is held annually and is attended by more than 450 business and community leaders, friends, families and honorees.

2016 Passport to Prosperity Honoree

The Iowa International Center’s Passport to Prosperity Awards Celebration and Gala is a unique and highly inspiring event featuring award presentations to a select number of immigrants and refugees in Iowa, as well as dynamic cultural entertainment and a delicious menu representative of the native countries of each recipient. Last year, we honored five outstanding immigrants and refugees at Passport, and welcomed nearly 300 friends, donors and community leaders at this inspiring September event.
